These questions represent some of the questions we field most often at Karmany Yoga. However, this list isnít exhaustive. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to call our Dallas studio at 214-564-7772 or our Fort Worth studio at 817-689-5642 or email us at email@example.com.
Q: How much do classes cost?
A:We do not do complicated memberships with expirations. You simply pay on a class-by-class basis. The suggested fee is $18 per class.
Q: What is a suggested fee?
A: Yoga can change your life for the better and we truly believe that these classes should be accessible to everyone. We suggest that our students pay $18 a class, which allows us to maintain our facilities and compensate our skilled, hard-working instructors for their time. Our suggested fee is lower than the drop-in fees at all most nearly yoga studios. Although, you are able to pay less if you are unable to afford the suggested amount, but our classes are not free.
Q: Do I need to register in advance for classes?
A: No, there is no need to sign up in advance for regular classes. However, for our special workshop we do encourage you to register in advance from our web site. For each special event there is a registration link.
Q: Can I pay for multiple classes at once?
A: Yes! Although we donít sell memberships, we do understand that itís convenient for some of our students to pay in advance for the classes they plan to attend. The Karmany Cash Card allows you to do just that. Add whatever funds you like to the card, and then use it like a gift card when you come to class.
Q: Do I need to bring my own mat?
A: We invite you to bring your own mat and props, or you can use ours.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Comfortable clothing similar to what you would wear to any other exercise class. Our female students usually wear yoga tops and pants while our male students usually opt for shorts and a t-shirt. Bottoms should not be too tight, as this can restrict your range of comfortable movement. Try to avoid overly large shirts, since we do inversions in every class. Youíll also want to skip heavy materials (like sweatshirt material).
Q: Are children welcome?
A: It depends on age and maturity level. In general we do not recommend our regular classes for children younger than 12 or 13.
Q: How hot are your classes?
A: Each teacher sets the temperature of the room for his/her class, but in general most classes are between 88 and 90 degrees. However, crowded classes can sometimes get a little warmer.
